Choosing a career is a process students need to go through—and they go through the stages of this process at different rates of speed.
The steps include:
assessing skills, interests, and abilities (an important first step to choosing an appropriate career);
exploring majors and career options;
experimenting with possible career options; and
organizing and conducting a job or graduate school search.
First impressions are key when trying to get a job. Whether you want to create a stellar resume, gain interview experience, or even improve your job searching skills, the Career Center has many workshops to meet your needs.
Our annual Career and Internship Fair, held every October, is a critical step in making a good choice for your future.
This event is much more than just a career and internship fair. Among the diverse opportunities for careers and internships, there are also a variety of graduate and professional schools avaliable to explore. Or if working for a community service organization is your calling, service organizations will also be present and offer information to help you learn about what they do and whom they help.
The majority of the organizations attending the Career & Internship Fair are looking for students in ALL majors. That means YOU!
Come with resume in hand to do some networking!
